As many of you know HBO Max started adding 4K HDR titles to the platform. When reached for comment an HBO Max spokesperson reiterated what Forsell said many months ago. At this time HBO Max does not offer any titles in 4K on the streaming platform.

I pay for Netflix premium package so I can get as much 4K content as possible. 4K TV with support for HDR Dolby Vision or HDR10. We had a chance to watch Wonder Woman 1984 in 4K HDR. If you have the above requirements and the title is available in 4K HBO Max should automatically play the title in 4K HDR.
